OBI

Our design for the OBI draws inspiration from moments where Japanese culture reinterprets Western influences—most notably the world of Japanese audio bars, from their 1960s origins to contemporary interpretations. These influences are layered with elements of Art Deco, Space-Age lounge culture, and the tactile logic of a Volvo dashboard, which informed the form and technique of the central bar—resulting in a space that feels immersive, eclectic, and quietly confident.
